Ever wonder whether it is better to deliver information/training on-line or in person? Ever wonder whether on-line learning is really effective? Would you like to know more about the differences between on-line learning and traditional training? You can find out the answers to these and other questions during the STC Rochester Chapter’s March meeting. We’ve invited Dr. Richard Fasse to speak on:
“Why Online Learning is Better than Traditional Face-to-Face Courses”
Dr. Fasse collaborates on new technology initiatives, researches the role of interaction in online courses, and strives to continuously improve the quality in the nearly 200 online courses offered each quarter at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He has retired from his position as Assistant Director of Online Learning but continues to work Fall and Spring Quarter on special projects and research associated with online learning. His education includes a BS in Business and Computer Science (University of Kansas), an MBA in Information Systems (Penn State), and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction (University of Rochester)
