Our membership includes writers, editors, graphic designers, business owners, managers of corporate publications department, educators, and students. With more than 20,000 members worldwide, STC is the largest professional organization devoted to the advancement of the theory and practice of technical communication.

The Rochester Chapter of STC, founded in 1958 and one of the longest running chapters in STC International history, currently serves approximately 110 members in Western and Central New York State. Our members provide a wide range of technical communications services within a variety of industries, such as computer hardware and software, photographic imaging, medicine and health care, telecommunications, community service, and education.

Amy Castronova is jetting off to NYC this week to attend the Women Presidents’ Organization To Honor Members At 10th Anniversary Gala. One of the awards, The Rising Star, is being presented to Amy by Barbara Walters on Wednesday, November 7th! She is one of several woman being honored at this event, which you can read about here.

This is a great honor and we’re all very proud of her at Novatek!
